Everything about baby carriers

Everything about baby carriers

Are you looking for a baby carrier that you can put on in just a few seconds? An ergonomic baby carrier is supportive, practical and comfortable. This creates the optimal position for your little one, provides good support and distributes the weight evenly across your upper body.

We distinguish between the following types of baby carriers

  • Baby carriers that are fully buckle-based (full-buckle) and require a baby insert.
  • Baby carriers that are fully buckle-based (full-buckle) and can be used without a baby insert.
  • Baby carriers with a buckle on the waistband and shoulder straps that are tied (half-buckle).
  • Baby carriers with both a tie waistband and tie shoulder straps (Meh Dai).

Full-buckle, half-buckle or Meh Dai

Will you choose a full-buckle, a half-buckle or a Meh Dai? The choice you make here is very personal. Do you want something ready to go? Then choose a full-buckle! Do you use the baby carrier together with your partner, who has a very different build from yours? Then you can imagine that with a full-buckle baby carrier, you need to adjust the straps again each time your partner has used it. This is not difficult at all, but it may be a reason not to choose a full-buckle. Don’t like all the straps hanging from a full-buckle baby carrier? Or do you not think a buckle carrier looks comfortable to wear? Then you can also consider a Meh Dai or possibly a half-buckle.

Carrying with or without a baby insert

As you will see, baby carriers are available both with and without a baby insert. An important consideration is whether you want to carry your little one in a baby carrier that requires a baby insert, or whether you would prefer one without. A baby carrier with a baby insert means that the carrier itself is actually still too large, but the baby insert makes the carrier smaller. This can be useful, for example, if you have two children you carry and only want to purchase one baby carrier. This way, you can carry both a small and a larger child (in turn) in the baby carrier.

Size information

If you are looking for a baby carrier, you can very easily in our online shop search by size. Always base your choice on the size your child wears now. We have made a selection of all the possible options for you at this time. In a baby carrier that is too large, your child will be spread too wide; you can imagine that this is not good for your child’s hips. Ergonomic carrying is extremely important, and that includes a well-fitting baby carrier . We therefore recommend choosing a baby carrier that fits now because you want to start using it now after all. Buying for your child to grow into may seem appealing, but with a baby carrier it is not a good choice.

That’s why you choose a baby carrier!
